• Types SS & SF Flexible Hose Connectors
• Types SS and SF braided metal hose connectors are built with stainless steel helical corrugated interior tube to provide flexibility, and stainless steel basket-weave exterior braid to prevent excess elongation. The end nipples and end flanges are carbon steel.
• Corrugated braided hose connections flex because the metal bends elastically, and springs back to its original position when the bending force is removed. It is recommended for suction and discharge connections of pumps and at the ends of suction and discharge headers of the pressure system.
• Maximum working pressure rating is 175 psi. Maximum working temperature rating is 250 degrees farenheight.
• The following types are available:
• Type SS: Stainless steel hose with steel male screwed ends
• Type SF: Stainless steel hose with 150 # steel flanged ends (see photo).
• Non-standard connector lengths and special end fittings are available.
